Mifflinville is a small unincorporated community located in Columbia County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is situated on the east bank of the Susquehanna River, about 18 miles northwest of Bloomsburg. Mifflinville is a part of the Bloomsburg-Berwick Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The community was founded in the 18th century and was named after Thomas Mifflin, who served as governor of Pennsylvania from 1790 to 1799. Mifflinville has a rich history, with several historic buildings and landmarks in and around the area. One of the most notable of these is the Old Fort Mifflinville Bridge, which was built in 1922 and is still in use today.
Today, Mifflinville is primarily a residential area with a small number of businesses and services.
